Dimitris Chiotopoulos was born in Athens in 1963. He is a surgeon and a visual artist. He has studied under prominent painters. His works are included in well-known private and public collections, and he has received many significant awards.

He has exhibited his works in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. As a medical illustrator, he has contributed illustrations to over 20 scientific publications. In the building of the Health Professionals’ Pension and Self-Insurance Fund (TSAY) and at the cultural center in Doxato, Drama, there is a special space that permanently houses a collection of his works.

He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts and the Society of Greek Writers.
